Introducing: The Toronto Investigator

Truth matters. But all too often, the truth gets buried - by politicians ducking accountability; by millionaires and billionaires hiding behind their wealth; by disinfo operations and a never-ending flood of garbage online.

It's increasingly clear that if democracy is to survive, we all need to do our part to fight back - so we're here to do our part.

The Toronto Investigator aims to do long-term investigative reporting to hold the powerful to account and give truth a voice in the GTA. We picture ourselves like the digital version of a neighbourhood watch, keeping an eye out for our local community. We aren't a business; we don't have incentives to make up news or sell ads. We only publish when we know we've got a story and can deliver the facts.
